Pan PDF Viewer: Просмотр PDF файлов в сообщениях

Good evening and thank you for the script.
So, if I want to use a pdf, I must know its URL beforehand.
Suppose I upload it to the site via pan_uploader, I can manage to know its address.

I tried to enter as a link the url of the uploaded file. But files in folder /upload are protected and PunBb won't give access to it. I get an error 403.

What would you suggest to host pdf files ? Where can I put them and how ? and how can I retrieve a correct url for this file to be used with the new plugin ?

I do not block any directory. And /uploads is correctly chmoded. Well, PunBB was stealing me a part of the url ! Here is the url of my uploaded pdf : http://revest.legtux.org/uploads/files/ … stique.pdf

When I enter it in the address bar, it opens in a new tab. OK
When I enter it in a PunBB message without using the link icon, it is displayed as a link. And if I click on it, it opens in a new tab : not so OK, since PdF Viewer extension is active and my browser is set to display pdf inside itself.
When I click on the link icon, then enter the pdf url between the url tags,  there is the same result as before.

I cannot manage to display the pdf inside the message. Maybe the pdf file should be hosted on an other website than PunBB ?

Thanks for the update. I installed it and my pdf was displayed just as it was here on your site. Then I opened  my post in edit mode, just to know how it was and closed it, whithout clicking on the Save button. And the pdf disapeared. Just as it was in my above post, on this site, when i clicked on edit, and closed it without saving. Editing the post leaves a blank space instead of the pdf.

Then I tried a new post on my site and this time, in place of the pdf, the integration code was displayed.

The PunBB where I test is with php 7.2 and sqlite3.

Behaviour is random. I will try and test on my other site Chronica, where you detain admin rights, in case you can spare some time to check.

Chrome on Android v.5 don't working, i mean that PDF viewer don't show.

Расширение интересное но есть замечания.
1. нет поддержки внешних ссылок - напр *.pdf из гугл-диска не подхватывает. Т. е. надо обязательно закачивать на форум через кнопку Загрузить файл.

2. сложности с прописыванием названия документа, если вписать его в тег ссылки, то всё равно не получится - документ показывает название внутри себя, при чём это именно имя файла (как правило это латиница или цифры), а не название!

Это видится довольно мудрым
