Topic: Receive supervision/monitoring emails

Hello !

I did not find anywhere the features I lack.
I would like information about any new message (not only any new topic) written the forum in several ways :

1 - an option to receive a supervision email for any new message, even if I haven't notched the box at the bottom of the message. And even if I am on the forum at the time it is written. This feature should be also for some moderators.
2 - a widget to display on index page a list of new messages with their exact link. If it is an answer and has not a special title, the title could end with the mention #7 for the 7th answer, for instance.
3 -  a rss feed for new messages and not only for new topics. It could be a rss feed for the whole site or only  for specific forums. Only, I have no idea how to cope with rss for private forums.

Can you to explain to me if such features may be problematic ?

I am aware that item#1 can generate a large number of automatic emails and that all web hosting may not support it. But some small forums really need this feature, mine does.

Thank you for the screenshot.

I had installed Pan_Moderator yesterday, but disabled it, not knowing where to choose the options.
Ok, now I can see that it is in the profile that I can to choose to receive emails. Is this option available to groups other than the administrator ?
And I woulld like to receive a supervision email, even if I am on the forum at the time it is written.

Before enabling again Pan_Moderator, can you tell me if there is an option about the publication : I do not whish to forbid message publication unless I check and valid them. I want the messages to be published immediately. Is there an option for choose it ?

I translated pan_moderator to French and slightly modified the English lang strings. I will make them available, after some more testing, in order to check that I completely understood everything.

Only for admins & moderators.

Pan_Moderator is not what I need : the text of the message is not included in the mail, I must connect to the site to read it.

I meet a small issue with the subject of the mail : the beginning of the subject has disapeared.
In the lang file , I entered :
Objet: Nouveau Message de <username>
And in the mail that I receive :
ouveau message de patricia

I will use the subscribe function for whole forums instead of Pan_Moderator, even if I must subscribe to every forum for a beginning.

Maybe this whole answer is not at the right place : it should be as comment to Pan_moderator posttopic

But you only asked for new messages. Oh I do not remember quoting posts that mentioned ...

You are right, sorry. I will let the extension enabled and let every moderator choose the way he wishes to be informed.
