Topic: Pan Encryptor: приватный форум с зашифрованными сообщениями

Расширение позволяет шифровать все сообщения на форуме посредством генерируемого хеша. Все сообщения хранятся в базе данных в зашифрованном виде. Ни админ, ни кто либо еще не сможет прочесть содержимое сообщений.

Расширение Pan Encryptor можно устанавливать как на нулевой форум, так и на форум на котором оставлено уже достаточно большое количество сообщений. Сообщение будут шифроваться после установки расширения. Все сообщения добавленные до установки расширения буду читабельными как обычно.

Принцип работы:
1. После установки расширения админ придумывает пароль и вводит его в своем профиле.

2. Далее он раздает пароль тем кто должен иметь доступ к секретному общению.
3. Пароль высылают по E-mail или передают каким либо другим тайным путем. PunBB_INFO_ICQ/secret
4. Пользователи получившие пароль вводят его единыжды в своем профиле и затем могут читать секретные сообщения и тайно общаться с теми у кого тоже имеется доступ.

Также стоит отметить, что пользователь может придумать свой пароль и раздавать его для приватного общения.
1. Пользователь создаёт свой пароль и раздает его для своего круга сообщников.
2. Создаёт новую тему и все имеющие пароль могут общаться в созданной теме.

Особенности:
Если пользователь не знает пароль,.то он видит пустые сообщения.
Если не имеющий доступ добавляет ответ, то его сообщения не будут видны никому, просто пустое сообщение.
Если пользователь создал свой пароль, то его сообщения будут видны только ему и тем кто знает пароль.

В дальнейшем возможно добавить разные права для групп, права на чтение, постинг и создание новых тем и т.п, вобщем все зависит от нашей фантазии. PunBB_INFO_ICQ/cool

Спасибо за расширение  PunBB_INFO_ICQ/thumbsup на новом форуме пробовал, точнее на сборке от kisa, все гуд.

Только у меня уже есть форум, хоть там и немного сообщений, но хотелось чтобы шифровались сообщения после установки расширения. А те которые были оставленные ранее, то так же были публично доступны.

Было бы не плохо  PunBB_INFO_ICQ/smile
Ещё можно включать в каких разделах форумов разрешено отправлять секретные сообщения.

Обновлено расширение до 0.3.3 версии.
+ Совместимо, когда на форуме имеется уже достаточно большое количество сообщений.

hello! first of all: thank you for the extension! unfortunately i cant get this running on my forum. i use a fresh PunBB 1.4.4 installation, installed your plugin. then i login as administrator, go to my profile page and set the password for the encryption. If i do this, the field for this password dissapears. if i now write a new topic to the forum it i can read the content. i now log out.. and the same topic is not readable anymore. so far so good. i login as test account now, and it says in russian, that i cant read this topic. how do i set the password now or inject it like you said? i cant find it in my profile. thanks a lot for help!

This is the essence of protection, in the database not stored password, but only its hash. Otherwise, someone can get the database and decrypt all the data.

You must remember or write down the password that you will hand out.

The administrator creates a password one at a time, so the key is one. Otherwise, if you change the password, you will not have access to the old messages after changing the password.

ok. i dont understand how to set the password and where the members can use it to read the forum messages. please could you explain in detail how to install this? thank you very much!

Before using this extension, read the following tips:

1. Log in to your profile to set a password.
2. Memorize or write it down. You will distribute it to those who will be allowed to read your encrypted messages.
3. Users must set the received password to themselves in the profile settings.
4. No one can change the password.

How to reset the password?

We do not provide such an option, but as a last resort, you can open the database using phpmyadmin and empty the field where the admin hash is located. After that you will be able to assign a new password, but old encrypted messages will not be readable.

Where can they do this?

If i login as a "normal" member, i dont see any input form for the password. (see attachment.)

In your profile there is no field to change email, perhaps this is the reason. I do not know why the email is not displayed

Im my installation "change email" for members is located inside profile introduction, right top corner. (checked with panbb 1.4.5 and punbb 1.4.4)
maybe its not compatible with this forum version or do i have to change settings as admin?

I figured out how it works. I have to allow Moderator privileges to Members so they can find the password form in their profile identity, otherwise they cant use it. I will try to implement this in normal user profiles too, but i dont know if my coding skills are good enough for this.  PunBB_INFO_ICQ/secret 

Another suggestion for the plugin: It seems you have to inject the password every time you login again to see the encrypted posts. Could you implement the password form to the login process in general? So users could login with name, their own password and password for the encryption. This would optimize the login process a lot.

Some additional information to my post before: I dont want to use cookies, so this should be the reason why i have to fill in the password again after every logout. So the encryption password field right on the login page would be nice.

It turned out that some of our forum users don`t want to use cookies in general and ask for it. so this would be just a good to have for us.
