PunBB in use with several CMS

This is a demonstration of the use of PunBB in relation to two other CMSs

My main site is made of Pages classified in categories (adHoc).
My forum in PunBB.
My photo album is Piwigo.

I can connect to PunBB via adHoc.
I display PunBB extract (Last Posts) in adHoc.
adHoc and PunBB can use photos located on Piwigo by a direct link in the editor toolbar. So I can have only one place for my pictures and they are uploaded only once.

In each one of the 3 CMS, links to the others are in the menu.
I made a google search engine that searches into the 3 websites at once.

I have tried to match the style (CSS) in the 3 cms so that visitors can think there are in the same universe.

All this organisation means some mental gymnastics, since the css specifications are different, administration does not look at all the same and the data bases are also different : flat files, sqlite and mysql. Some times I get lost ! I used a portal CMS that did everything years ago, but today, I choose to marry the best of every universe.
